Mixed Media Lives
We survived our first crisis at Mixed Media, although for a few hours there we considered self-immolation as a serious option. So what went wrong? We still don’t know, except it seems Wordpress crapped out. Truth is, we’re mostly liberal arts majors here, so we might as well have been working on the space shuttle. Whenever we would add a new post, the whole index would go blank. For the last two days, we struggled to identify the problem until finally we did what most people do when their computers break down — we turned it off and then back on again. We reinstalled Wordpress, and now everything seems to be back to normal. Keep your fingers crossed. Unfortunately a few of our readers’ comments got lost in the reboot, but we’re sure you will remedy that in no time. We might have a slow down in new posts while we restore and tweak a few things, the blogroll for starters. Regardless, it’s great to be back.
