<description>I&#039;ve never voted for a Democrat in my life, but Senator Barack Obama will change that for me in the next presidential election!

The Sheraton ballroom was packed like sardines, but the senator was still able to make us all feel like he was speaking to each and every one of us.

While other Republicans that I know of may not rush out to change their party affiliations (or maybe some will? - my wife and I plan to), it was obvious that many, many, MANY in the crowd were sold on Senator Obama!!

It is so rare that a political figure is able to reach across party lines and come across as so knowledgable, yet so down to earth and genuine. He passes the &quot;Bama-Friendly&quot; test in our book!

When the next presidential election rolls around, we will need a candidate who is not polarizing; yet who can reach across party lines.

We&#039;ve found that candidate.

Thank you so much for those who hosted these events, and thank you to Kyle Whitmire for covering them!
