I have to swallow some pride here and admit that I hadn't known about the other "non-qualified" bidders on Project Peek-a-Boo. This should set off everyone's Spidey Senses. It's an old trick among shifty bureaucrats and dirty pols to make RFPs (requests for proposals) so specific that only one particular bidder will qualify. I can't wait to learn more. I'd especially like to learn which of the other bidders have actually done this kind of work before. Also, I find it interesting that the RFP for the police scooters required three wheels. Sorry, Segway. Or maybe, “Operation My Vulcan Ass.”
