I am honored to have been a part of it! I have never been more proud of Birmingham.

Hope is very contagious...and it feels good for a change.

America needs a leader like Barack Obama, who will finally change the nasty politics of Washington and end the culture of division in this country. I hope the Clintons stop saying that white people will not vote for Obama or that women will not vote for Obama. That is the divisive politics of the 1990s that the Clintons are a master at. We need an end to that sort of dirty, divisive politics. We need a new politics of bringing America together. And the president who can make that happen is Barack Obama

"To have seen what I've seen!"

The "Dream" of the 60's that men will be judged by what they are. Need forces change. We need what Obama offers. We see him without the the blinding and confusing error of racism. He is a man offering to be our president. THAT is the vivid truth. What an idea! What a moment!
