Catch it on the Warning Track: Record label hosts CD release event

By Brent Thompson

Brothers David and Michael Seale were at a Birmingham Barons game when they hatched the idea of starting a record label. Their vision has become a reality, and Warning Track Records will be officially launched at Bottletree Cafe on Friday, June 27. The event – featuring Vulture Whale, Matthew Mayfield, 3 Hour Tour and Sparrow – will begin at 8:30 p.m. Coinciding with the show will be the release of the label’s first compilation CD. Focusing on local pop/rock artists, Warning Track Records is set to raise the profile of the city’s fertile music scene. Tickets to the 18+ show are $10 and can be purchased at www.thebottletree.com or by calling 533-6288. 3719 3rd Avenue South.
