What I’m Eating This Week

There\’92s something to be said for being quick and easy. I\’92m talking about lunch, people! Some days just aren\’92t suited to a sit down salad or an hour-long conversation over cocktails. That\’92s exactly why this week I grabbed a hot dog and fries from Scott\’92s Koneys on Third Avenue South and 21st Street. Not only was I in and out in less than five minutes, but I spent less than $5.

Birmingham has a plethora of places where you can find similar fast and affordable fare. Among them, longtime local favorites like Pete’s Famous Hot Dogs, Gus’s Hot Dogs and Lyric Hot Dog.\
