Local Dish: Maker’s Mark Night at Firebirds

Cocktails and cuisine: Firebirds in Hoover will host its Maker\’92s Mark Night on Tuesday, Oct. 21. The event will feature five Maker\’92s Mark cocktails paired with Southern-inspired cuisine. The dinner kicks off with a Maker\’92s Mark white grape and basil mojito and ends with Maker\’92s Mark neat or on the rocks. The dinner menu is as follows:

First Course\
Traditional Maker\’92s Mark cocktail paired with wild boar sausage\

Second course\
Aspen Old Fashioned with BBQ pulled pork sliders\

Third course\
Maker\’92s Mark Manhattan with peach BBQ alligator ribs\
\
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and is $60 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Each guest will receive a gift package from Firebirds and Maker\’92s Mark. For reservations, please call (205) 733-2002. Firebirds is located in the Patton Creek Shopping Center.
