Developing: Southern Progress Layoffs

Birmingham Weekly has learned that Southern Progress, a division of Time Inc., has laid off as many as 30 employees. The cuts seem to be part of a larger, company-wide reduction. Details to come. In the meantime, feast on this from Gawker.
