Bark for a beer (and a park!)

By Molly Folse

Meet dog lovers and Bark for a Park supporters for “Pubs & Pups,” an afternoon of food and drink, Saturday, Feb. 7 from 3-5 p.m. at The J. Clyde. Everyone can enjoy a 50 percent discount on all beers with dogs in the name or on the label – Black Dog Ale, Abita Turbo Dog, Flying Dog Snake Dog Indian Pale Ale, to name a few – and 10 percent of all purchases will go to Bark for a Park, an organization dedicated to establishing an off-leash dog park at George Ward Park.\

The J. Clyde is located at 1312 Cobb Ln. Want to know more about Bark for a Park? Check out this story from the Nov. 13 issue of Birmingham Weekly.
