A former Cave9 goer, a friend who moved home to Pensacola, said he will miss this place as well. I never went, but always meant to. Sad to see it go.

I love the fact that a venue that was so profoundly against having drugs, alcohol, and violence in the music scene gets the short end of the stick because a few people didn't understand what the music. Now the Birmingham kids can go back to the classless past times of drinking their parents beer and using their allowance to buy some good dank. Anyone who helped close this place should reconsider the kind of person they've grown up o be.
