Talk about being in limbo, I own $25000 in a Jefferson County Court House Bond that does not mature for 4 years. I've seen it's market value cut in half. I have no idea what bankruptcy means for my court house bond. Does it mean that Jefferson County will skip free of all depts in all areas or only on the sewer system? Are investors overreacting by steering clear of all Jefferson County bonds and devalueing all of their bonds. Personally, I'm hoping Jefferson County keeps doing the limbo for another 4 years and pays off on my bond in the end. Is this false hope?

The Johnson Rule is not even close to being an "esoteric point of law ." It is covered in every law school as one of the basic tenants of the law of jurisdiction.
