Finally, a candidate we can get behind!

Ok, which one of you said Roy Moore’s name in the mirror three times and summoned him roymooreback to political relevance? The disgraced former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, ousted six years ago for failing to follow a court order to remove his Ten Commandments monument out of the state judicial building, is the fifth Republican to throw a hat in the gubernatorial ring. He joins political scion Tim James, current PACT punching bag Kay Ivey, former two-year college Chancellor Bradley Byrne and Rep. Robert Bentley. The cornerstone of Moore’s platform should make any post-Civil War South historian shudder a bit: state’s rights.
