Hey, all you do-gooders!

By Jesse Chambers

We Green Space media junkies continue to search voraciously for any web sites that can help slake your thirst for green info. While Idealist.org is not strictly “green,” it’s worth a shout-out. It describes itself as “an interactive site where people and idealist_normal1organizations can exchange resources and ideas, locate opportunities and supporters, and take steps toward building a world where all people lead free and dignified lives.” The site has links to oodles of events, campaigns, internships, workshops and volunteer opportunities. For those Neo-Luddites among you, those who must hold something in your hands (i.e., a book), you can make your mouse click and order The Idealist.org Handbook to Building a Better World (Perigee PB; $14.95).
