Converging on zero emissions
Convergence on zero may sound like the title of a ‘70s sci-fi film, but no, it’s the name of an upcoming conference regarding a future without those nasty fossil fuels. “Convergence on Zero: the Transition to Zero Emissions,” will be held at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C., June 25-26. Leading energy and 
climate experts from the increasingly green nation of Wales, which is striving to cut its fossil fuel use by 90 percent by mid-century, will meet with experts from the U.S. and the U.K. to discuss climate change and energy security. These experts will include both “thinkers” (scientists and researchers) and “doers” (engineers, architects and entrepreneurs), according to a press release. Read more at www.convergenceonzero.org.
