It’s Green Third Thursday!

Have you considered helping to start a community garden and making your neighborhood a happier, healthier place? You have the opportunity to get both information and inspiration tonight at Catalyst of Birmingham’s Green Third flowersThursday event.  A celebration of community gardens in Birmingham, including Jones Valley Urban Farm and West End Garden, the event will be held at 6 p.m. at the Green Resource Center at 2564 18th St. in Homewood.  Enjoy food, non-alcoholic beverages and live music. The Catalyst Community Garden Coalition strives to support existing gardens, assist communities who want to create gardens and encourage Birmingham youth to participate.
