Langford wrecks truck (not on way from Fairfield)

By Kyle Whitmire

Early Tuesday morning Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford was rear-ended at a red light on Ensley Avenue near Fair Park. The mayor was not injured and appeared at the city council meeting later in the morning.

Was the mayor driving to work from his home in Fairfield? Of course not. He moved to Birmingham, remember? He just takes his homestead exemption in Fairfield and parked his car there overnight every time we checked.

But there’s absolutely no way the mayor was on his way from Fairfield, where he doesn’t live, to Birmingham, where he works. So just get that out of your head right now.

Rather, as the mayor explained to the city council, he was driving out there to check on all the progress going on at Fair Park. Got that? Not driving to work from Fairfield.

... and when he goes to jail the Caddy will still be parked in Fairfield.

Soon he will be living behind bars and I don't mean night club bars!

Ha Ha. puh-leeeze. Is he even still on the lease at the loft? Why can't the people in this county see through this man? He's a shyster. Anyone can tell that when he opens his mouth!! I canNOT wait until his trial.

I just found your site through a link posted by a fellow blogger on AL.com., and I am delighted to find reporters who aren't afraid to tell the truth about Langford! Why are people so afraid to confront this man? We could have been spared so much if Patrick Cooper had stood his ground after the election. I guess we have to wait until August for the trial.
