Wine 101: The Basics of Wine

Maybe it’s time we get back to the basics of wine: The Vintage Wine Shoppe will present “Wine 101: The Basics of Wine” on Tuesday, July 14 from 7-9 p.m.

Learn how to read a wine label, discuss the basis of food and wine pairing and taste the “Big Six” grapes: Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The class fills up quickly and is limited to 18 students. Registration and prepayment is required. Cost is $25. The store is located at 432 Cahaba Park Circle.
