You may wonder why the mighty New York Times needs a plug from Birmingham Weekly. Well, have you looked at their balance sheet recently? It ain’t pretty.

So open your heart, rush to your netbook and check out a blog called “Green Inc.” at www.greeninc.blogs.nytimes.com.

The blog covers “energy, the environment and the bottom line.” We media junkies at Green Space love real-world information about the way the profit motive and a desire to make the environment better can work together.

“How will the pressures of climate change, limited fossil fuel resources and the mainstreaming of ‘green’ consciousness reshape society?” Follow the money,” the site says.
