It had a great noir feel and a great cast. But, instead of taking it in a "gritty, realistic" direction, the plots were usually waaaayyy over the top. <br><br>My only complaint about Mad Men is it's become a source of inspiration for a generation of young, professional assholes. The style of business suit is different, but too many young guys I've seen out on the town seem to long for the days when you could drink fearlessly at 10 a.m. and treat women like objects.<br><br>Fun to watch when it's on TV, but sad when you see it played out in front of you.
