COMMISSION GIVES MORE TIME TO SELECTION OF DIRECTOR: The Alabama Environmental Management Commission will take applications for the open Executive Director position at the Alabama Department of Environmental Management until Jan. 29, according to a report in last week’s Montgomery Advertiser. The commission will perform its own search and choose a new director in February. This move is an extension of the previous deadline, which was Jan. 8.
