Produced in the gorgeous Virginia Samford Theatre, Zivah Saphirah is branching out beyond the dances of the Middle East and will offer a new glimpse into more forms of international dance. Dance performances will range in styles to include Egyptian Cabaret (Bellydance), Tribal Fusion, Gypsy Punk, French Can-Can, Tahitian, Hula, Tribal Style Bellydance (ATS), Khaleeji (Saudi Gulf), Brazilian Samba and Turkish. This dance and music extravaganza features Zivah Saphirah dancers with guests Devyani Dance Company, Firefly Tribal, Ilya, Rebecca and Sumaya. Live music will be provided by Jay Burnham, Mark Freeman and Rich Miller. This is a family-friendly show, but the length may not be suitable for ages 9 and younger and it is highly recommended that children under the age of four do not attend theater performances. A cash bar is available before and during intermission for this show.
