Celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, the Birmingham Art Association hails as the city’s longest functioning art group. It recently opened its gallery at the Regions Harbert Plaza downtown and showcases work by amateur to professional artists. The BAA is a non-profit organization run by volunteers, open for membership to those interested and involved in visual and performing arts.
